Welcome to coachery. These Terms of Service govern your use of the leadership coaching services provided by coachery. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully to understand our practices and your obligations as a user of our services.

The purpose of these terms is to establish a clear understanding between coachery and our clients regarding the scope of leadership coaching, professional boundaries, and the administrative policies that ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.

1. Our Agreement

Welcome to coachery. These Terms of Service set out the foundations of our relationship with you—how we work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask in return.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Nature of Our Work

coachery provides leadership coaching, team development, and advisory support. Coaching is a structured, reflective process designed to support clarity, growth, and purposeful action. It is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice. Outcomes are shaped by the quality of engagement, not prescribed or guaranteed.

3. Entering an Engagement

You agree that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete

  • You are responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes

  • You are engaging in good faith, with intent to participate actively

You must be 18 years or older to use our services.

4. Bookings, Fees, and Payment

Sessions and engagements are scheduled by agreement.

  • Fees will be clearly outlined prior to commencement

  • Payment terms will be agreed at the point of booking or contracting

  • Timely payment is required to maintain continuity of service

Where payment is delayed or outstanding, coachery reserves the right to pause services.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellations

We recognise that schedules shift. In return, we ask for consideration.

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel a session

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged in full

We will extend the same professionalism and flexibility where we need to reschedule.

6. Your Commitment

The quality of coaching is shaped by the quality of participation. You agree to:

  • Arrive prepared and present

  • Engage openly and thoughtfully

  • Follow through on agreed actions where relevant

  • Respect the time, space, and boundaries of the engagement

7. Confidentiality

Confidentiality sits at the core of our work. Personal information and discussions within coaching sessions are treated with care and discretion. Limits to confidentiality may apply where:

  • Disclosure is required by law

  • There is a serious risk of harm

Where an organisation sponsors coaching, we will establish clear, transparent boundaries at the outset regarding what is—and is not—shared.

8. Intellectual Property

Our tools, frameworks, and materials reflect considered design and experience. They remain the intellectual property of coachery and are provided for your personal or organisational development. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercialised without prior written consent.

9. Responsibility and Liability

Coaching supports insight and action—it does not replace personal responsibility. To the extent permitted by New Zealand law:

  • coachery is not responsible for decisions or actions taken by clients

  • We do not warrant specific outcomes

  • Any liability is limited to the value of services provided

10. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

  • Attempt to access restricted systems or data

  • Disrupt or interfere with the site’s operation

  • Use the site for unlawful or harmful purposes

11. Third-Party Platforms

We may use trusted third-party platforms to deliver parts of our service (e.g. scheduling, video conferencing, payments). While we select these carefully, we are not responsible for their performance or availability.

12. Ending an Engagement

Either party may choose to conclude an engagement. coachery may suspend or end services where:

  • These Terms are not upheld

  • Payment obligations are not met

  • Behaviour compromises the integrity or safety of the work

Any outstanding fees remain payable.

13. Evolving These Terms

As coachery grows, these Terms may evolve. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply from the date of publication.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

These Terms are designed to create clarity, mutual respect, and a strong foundation for meaningful work together.
